Gravity Spa Triathlon

Memorial Day brought out 7 GST members (pic missing Sean and Tranq!). ~50 miles on the back country roads did the soul good.

Endurance athletes cannot ask for better weather in February than we had this past weekend. Luckily, the incredible weather aligned with two Ohio River Road Runners Club events.

The Frosty 14 is a Caesar Creek trail race that ended up being around 13 miles with 8-9 miles through sloppy mud. Chris, Garett, and Matt tackled the difficult course to endure some serious early season suffering.

Chris Cain: 8th OA
Matt Tranquilli: 19th OA
Garett Simpson: 50th OA

The Splash N Dash also enjoyed great weather for the 2nd iteration in a row with Phil and Marie representing GST. Both athletes turned out great performances and tackled the hilly run course with vigor!

Phil Minutolo: 10th OA
Marie Sparrow: 14th OA (4th Female)

GST took Centerville by storm today participating in both the Indoor TT at Club 51 and the Frostbite 5 at Centerville High School.

Huge congrats go out to Josh Bozue who took 1st overall against many incredible cyclists 2 days after his birthday. Happy b-day, Josh! Bow down to Wattzilla!

Phil, Marie, and Steph also turned in fantastic performances finishing 17th OA, 37th OA (7th Female), and 39th OA (8th Female) respectively.

GST kicked the year off right with incredible weather at the ORRRC SND! Matt and Sean couldn't quite overcome the super swimmer, Michael Sparks, but still turned in blazing fast times on a hilly run course taking 2nd and 5th overall!
