Im trying to think of the time and place I would use these movements- the bird dog might challenge someone stuck in flexion? The dead bug I’d probably give to someone stuck in lumbar extension? Either way a healthy golfer never gets these movements because I think there are many better options.

The core training I like to do for my golfers is a lot of rotation in different positions - the idea is to saturate the pattern.

try these out you can add some weight for additional difficulty move slowly through the full range of motion and don’t forget to do these instead of planks and dead bugs next time
