🌺 Giving Back With Aloha! 🌺

When the Downtown Beaverton Association put out the call for donations to support homeless youth through their Daily Essentials Challenge that supports Home Plate Youth Services, Hula Hālau ʻOhana Holoʻokoʻa ʻohana answered the call with incredible generosity!

Thanks to the kindness of our students, we overflowed the collection box.

We are so proud of our hālau for living the values we learn through hula: aloha, kōkua (helping others) and mālama (caring for those around us). Mahalo to every student and family who contributed. Together, we showed that even small acts of kindness can create a big impact.

Moments like these remind us how truly blessed we are to dance, grow and give together.

Together we are stronger. Together we are aloha! 💕

There are no words that can fully capture how deeply grateful and incredibly proud we are to celebrate 5 of the most extraordinary individuals in our hula ʻohana.

These 5 beautiful and dedicated dancers have been with us for 11+ years and their unwavering commitment, passion and love for Hawaiian Culture moves our hearts in the most profound ways every single day.

They have shown 11+ years of showing up, learning, growing and pouring their hearts onto the hula floor.

They have danced through life‘s most wonderful moments and it’s most challenging ones too - and through it all, they have never stopped showing up with grace, devotion and so much aloha.

You inspire us, you inspire each other and you inspire every student who walks through our doors to keep dancing, keep learning and keep carrying the beauty of the Hawaiian culture in their hearts.

We are endlessly grateful for each and everyone of you. Our hālau will not be what it is today without your light, your love and your unwavering commitment.

Happy Mother’s Day weekend from our hula ʻohana to yours! Today our precious keiki kicked off class in the most adorable way - with an online Mother’s Day card making session that filled our hearts with so much joy and aloha!

To all of the incredible mamas, grandmas, aunties and mother figures who support and encourage our keiki dancers every single day - Happy Mother’s Day! You are the heartbeat of our hālau ʻohana and we celebrate you today and always!

🌺 Horizon Christian School Formal 🌺

We were honored to bring the warmth and beauty of the aloha spirit to the Horizon Christian School Formal - sharing a special performance and an interactive hula lesson with all of the students.

From the first beat to the final smiles, the room was filled with energy, laughter and connection. Watching students step into hula, learn the movements and experience the joy of dancing together was truly heartwarming.

Mahalo to Horizon Christian school for welcoming us so warmly. We loved sharing this beautiful experience with you and creating memories that will last far beyond the dance floor.

🌺 Kūpuna Lunch! 🌺

Our beautiful kūpuna took their hula spirit to the sunshine on Thursday for a wonderful lunch at 1st Street Dining Commons. There is nothing like sharing a meal, laughter and a little aloha in the heart of our downtown Beaverton community!

We had quite the feast with ʻono food from Ur Mediterranean, and .

Happy Lei Day!! We loved our May Day celebration in Thursday classes.

Our Hula PM crew gathered for a special Hōʻike watch party and potluck at Sheri‘s hale. Sheri was a fabulous host and everything came together with laughter, connection and ʻono food.

Watching hula together, cheering each other on and celebrating our journey made the night even more meaningful. This is what makes our hālau so special - community, culture and moments we’ll always remember.
