It is with bittersweet feelings we announce that Mental Health Therapy Program Intake Coordinator and therapist Kimberlee Cooper is moving on to other opportunities.

Kimberlee was instrumental in maintaining our Mental Health Therapy Program and growing its reach, allowing us to serve more clients in the time she has been here.

While we’re sad to see her go, we thank her for her dedication in serving our clients and wish her the best in her future endeavors.

❓How long have you been volunteering at Forward Stride and why did you start?
I've been volunteering at Forward Stride since October 2022. After moving to Oregon, I found I missed having horses in my life. More than that, I wanted to spend my time somewhere that was making a real difference in the community. When I found Forward Stride it felt like the perfect fit.

Smoky conditions have made it to Forward Stride. All sessions were cancelled today to protect both our human and equine partners.

We encourage our community to be safe, stay cool, and stay indoors when you can. We are also thinking of our community members further afield in central and eastern Oregon, as well as all those affected by the fires across the northwest. 💙

If your upcoming class or session will be impacted by the poor air quality, a member of staff will reach out to let you know.
