Congrats to the Evergreen Curling Club Junior Boys team of Charlie Meyer, Luke Leohardt, and Tanner Holmes plus Gavin Agre from Brainerd Lakes CC on being co-champions at this weekend’s Four Seasons CC Junior Qualifier in Blaine, Minnesota.

With the result, the ECC boys have qualified for the Under-21 U.S. National Championships in Bismarck, North Dakota later this month.

What the shell happened this weekend?!

The 2026 Bridgetown Bonspiel, presented by Momokawa Sake, was o-fish-ally off the scales, packed to the gills, and reel-y one for the books.

Huge thanks to our fin-credible participants, our ride-or-dive volunteers, and the ice crew for keeping the current strong and the stones swimming.

No matter how you slice it up, this weekend's forecast calls for curling. Whether it's at a bonspiel, league night or your very first learn to curl, good curling!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Evergreen Curling Club member CJ (Christine Duncan-Johnson) in early January.

CJ joined the club following the 2022 Olympics and quickly became an active and beloved part of our community, both on and off the ice. She curled in multiple leagues across several nights, participated in numerous bonspiels and playdowns, and was part of one of the club’s rare eight-enders with her Sunday night team.

Off the ice, CJ’s dedication to volunteering truly shined. She was instrumental in organizing raffle baskets for both the Dianespiel and the AGM. Over the past few years, CJ coordinated dozens of prizes from local Portland-area businesses to help raise funds for the Dianespiel. Her commitment never wavered—she was still writing thank-you notes for this year’s Dianespiel raffle shortly before her passing.

CJ’s passion, generosity, and kindness left a lasting impact on Evergreen Curling Club. She will be deeply missed.
