Welcome to Elevate, Bethany! 🥳 You’ve probably seen Bethany around the studio subbing classes for a while, and we couldn’t be more excited to now have her on full teaching staff. Check out her bio below, and come join her in class this fall on Mondays! 🪩

“An Oregon native, Bethany began her dance training at Corvallis Ballet Academy under the mentorship of Megan Skinner and Irina Vassileni. She performed as an Apprentice with a local company in Eugene, Oregon, and later as a Company Dancer with Convergence Ballet Company in Phoenix, Arizona. Bethany transitioned to teaching in 2021 and has taught at numerous respected schools across the state, including The Oregon Ballet Theatre School, The Portland Ballet, American Ballet Academy, and June Taylor’s School of Dance. She also works as a freelance teacher in the Portland area. Bethany is excited to join the Elevate Dance Academy faculty.”

Drumroll please....the Season IX: ROOTED fall/spring schedule at Elevate Dance Academy is officially LIVE! 🎉

Check out our schedule for the upcoming season on our Classes & Tuition page! We have tons of great options for dancers, from the most experienced to those just starting out. Our first day of the new season will be Tuesday 9/8, the day after Labor Day.

❗️Registration opens this Tuesday 8/11 at 10am! ❗️Classes will fill up quickly, so be sure to hop onto the Parent Portal on Tuesday to enroll. Season IX: ROOTED is all about rooting ourselves in what matters most, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to dance together.

We will also be opening up our Free Trials for next season on Tuesday as well, if you’d like to try up to four classes in different styles. However please keep in mind spots in classes may fill, and trials are not a guarantee of a spot for enrollment.

Welcome to Elevate, Jason! Jason Wickett We are so excited to have you on teaching staff at the studio. Jason currently teaches Hip Hop for our summer session, and he will back in the fall on Mondays! Born in Lacey, Washington, Jason began dancing at the late age of 12. However, through dedication and consistent training, he quickly developed his craft and has continued to study with some of the industry’s most respected choreographers and educators.

Today, he teaches throughout the Pacific Northwest, directing and choreographing award-winning competitive dance teams, while mentoring and training the next generation of dancers.

We had SO much fun last week in our Mermaid Academy Camp with Miss Sydney! Syd Our campers played games, made crafts, and learned some dance moves that would even impress Ariel herself. 🧜‍♀️ Hang that official Mermaid Camp Certificate somewhere in your room campers, you earned it! 💙🐚

🔥 Come join us THIS FRIDAY 7/31 for a one-hour pop-up class with April D**g! april🪷 April’s bringing some killer Hip Hop choreo with a fusion of different street styles and fun, upbeat energy. The class is 6-7pm, $20, and geared toward intermediate to advanced dancers ages 11+. Come dance - we can’t wait.

Pop-Star Party Camp is NEXT WEEK! 🪩 And we are offering 20% off registration for the entire camp. Dancers ages 6-10 will have tons of fun with Miss Sydney making crafts, building their very own pop-star persona, learning stage choreography, singing, dancing, you name it!
