REMINDER: If you are interested in becoming a referee, the WVSA Referees are hosting a course on Saturday morning with immediate opportunities to observe and implement what you learn during these friendlies.

We are excited to come alongside them as we prioritize the development of players, coaches and referees.

The West Virginia State Referee Committee will be hosting a First Time Referee Course in conjunction with the West Virginia Development Friendlies hosted in Beckley, WV on August 29. Referees certified at the course will have the opportunity to gain on-field experience immediately following the course. Sign up today!

We are excited to partner with our state referee association to provide more growth opportunities for young referees. All of our game weekends include on-site referee mentors who help them develop.

Interested in opportunities to grow off the field? Check out these monthly Zoom sessions.

Today we want to highlight our monthly educational sessions! Starting this Fall we will host educational zoom sessions each month on the second Tuesday at 8:00pm. These sessions will feature presentations by referee coaches, mentors, and/or other guest speakers. Leave us a comment below on topics you want to see covered!
