Truth!!
Its time for “greater in your later”.

Just…. Maybe💕🔥

Have you ever felt like there's more for you?

Not more things.
Not more responsibilities.
Not more busyness.
More meaning.
More purpose.
More fulfillment.
More alignment.

Many women reach midlife and begin sensing that a new chapter is calling them.

The question becomes:
How will you answer the call?

Midlife isn't about settling.
It's about intentionally creating a life that reflects who you are now.

Your dreams don't have an expiration date.
Your purpose didn't retire.

And your best chapter is still ahead. It’s time to experience “greater in your later”.Let's get to it!

💗 If fear or money weren't a factor, what would you pursue next?

Does it ever feel like everyone needs something from you?

Your family.
Your job.
Your friends.
Your community.
And by the end of the day, there's very little left for you.

Many women have spent years being the reliable one.

The strong one.
The one everyone can count on.

But here's something I've learned:
Being available to everyone doesn't mean you have to be available all the time. It really is OK to put your phone on Do Not Disturb for a while. When I first did this, I felt like I was going to miss something. Turns out that is the best thing for managing your access and keeping the distractions and noise to a minimum.

Healthy boundaries are not selfish.
They're necessary.

Every time you say yes to something that drains you, you may be saying no to your own well-being.
💗 What's one boundary you've learned to embrace in midlife?

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, "How did I get here?"

Not because your life is bad.
Not because you're unhappy.
But because the woman you are today feels different from the woman you were 10, 20, or even 30 years ago.

Midlife has a way of asking us questions we may have avoided for years:
✨ Who am I now?
✨ What do I want?
✨ What matters most to me in this season?

The truth is, we aren’t having a midlife crisis. What we are experiencing is an identity shift.

The roles that once defined us are changing. The priorities that once guided us are evolving. And that's not something to fear—it's something to embrace. In fact, it is a beautiful thing. Growth and evolution is wonderful as you have the opportunity to design the life you desire.

You are not losing yourself.
You are becoming.

💗 What is one thing you've learned about yourself in this season of life and who are you becoming? Share below.

You don't have to earn rest.
Somewhere along the way, we as women were taught – directly or indirectly - that rest comes after everything is done.

But here's the problem...

The work is never done.

There will always be another task.

Another responsibility.

Another person who needs something.

Rest isn't a reward.
It's a requirement.

Today, I want to remind you that taking care of yourself is not selfish. It's wisdom.

❤️ What's one thing you can do today that would feel restful?

Wow… I can’t believe this month is almost over and we’re nearly halfway through the year already. Time really does fly—whether you’re having fun or not.

So with that being said, I say: CHOOSE JOY. ✨

Yes, there is a lot going on in the world and life is definitely “life-in’.” Some days feel heavy. Some moments cut deeply. And if we’re honest, not everything we’re facing feels joyful.

But joy is not pretending everything is perfect.

Joy is choosing not to let life steal your peace, your hope, or your ability to still see goodness in the middle of hard things.

That doesn’t mean we ignore reality or avoid difficult emotions. It simply means we refuse to let pain have the final word.

And sometimes, choosing joy looks like taking a deep breath…
Giving thanks for what’s still good…
Laughing anyway…
Resting when needed…
Praying when words fail…
And believing that better days are still ahead.

So today, I encourage you: Choose joy anyway. 💛

Here are 3 quick ways to scale your joy today:

✨ 1. Practice gratitude on purpose
Pause and name 3 things that are going right—even small things count.

✨ 2. Protect your peace
Step away from what constantly drains your spirit – that could be the news, people, places or things, even if only for a moment.

✨ 3. Do one thing that genuinely lights you up
Call a friend, go outside, listen to music, dance in the kitchen, pray, laugh, rest—whatever fills your cup.

Joy may not change every circumstance immediately, but it can surely change how you move through them. For me dancing to “Love On Top” gets me moving everytime!

Choose joy today. It makes a difference—not only in your life, but in the lives of those around you too. 💫

Entering midlife never really bothered me. I was happy to turn 40, then 50, and turning 60 was everything—I even had a big birthday celebration to honor the milestone.

Yes, I’ve experienced many of the changes and transitions that often come during this season of life: health changes (and yes…the menopause thing is real 😊), relationship changes—romantic, friendships, and family dynamics—becoming an empty nester, caring for an aging parent, thinking more deeply about purpose and legacy, and now my latest transition…upcoming retirement.

Has it been a rollercoaster at times? Absolutely.

But through it all, I’m still here.

More than that, this season has been one of rediscovery, growth, healing, and breakthrough. And honestly? I’m loving it.

By the grace and strength of God, I’ve made it through every hard day, every valley, and every wilderness season. And one thing I know for sure is that I am better because of it.

Now, I get to live my best blessed life and truly experience greater in my later.

So my encouragement to you is this: embrace this season—the lumps, the bumps, the lessons, and the beauty of it all. Life is precious, and we only get one.

Midlife is not the end of your story.
It may just be the beginning of your renaissance. ✨

Can we normalize talking about menopause?

Not whispering about it.
Not minimizing it.
Not pretending everything is “fine.”

Many women are silently navigating:
• Sleep disruptions
• Mood changes
• Brain fog
• Fatigue
• Hormonal shifts

At Midlife Renaissance Collective, we believe women deserve support, education, and conversations rooted in compassion—not silence.
