Bedford wrestling wants to wish a huge congratulations to varsity wrestler Carter Kozielec on making and competing in the Fargo Freestyle and Greco championships over the past week. Carter earned the trip through placing in the PA championships! Way to go and congratulations to Carter!!

The boys put in the work this summer, learning from outstanding coaches, pushing each other to improve, and making memories along the way. Keep grinding!

2026 Bisons summer wrestling camp @ Camp Living Waters is in the books.

We would like to thank all of our great Clinicians for their help this week. Kaden Cassidy, Ryan Easter, Joe Strittmatter, Sam Carroll, Jake Jacob Allen Snyder, Cory Thomas. We are thankful for all of your time and effort helping our kids as they work to improve. The kids got great wrestling and life lessons from all of you. We want to thank our guest wrestlers from Everett, Northern Bedford, Forest Hills and Berlin for joining our wrestlers and helping to build some relationships on and off the mat. We hope all enjoyed their time from the wrestling to fishing, to camp fires we hope it was a positive and memorable experience. Already planning for next years camp in June of 2027.

Wrestling Camp Openings! Bedford Wrestling is offering a limited number of spots for its June overnight camp. Interested individuals can contact us for more information. Details are outlined in the attached flyer.

When: June 14-16
Where: Camp Living Waters, Schellsburg, PA, Who: Wrestlers entering 7th-12th grades.

The camp will be conducted by Bedford Wrestling's coaching staff and feature special sessions with Kaden Cassidy, a 2-time Division 1 national qualifier and former Bedford and PA State Champion.

Participants will be provided with all meals, and have access to on-site fishing during leisure time, making for a well-rounded experience of wrestling and camping.

Wrestling Camp Opportunities Available. We are accepting registrations for our upcoming wrestling camp, with a few spots remaining. For comprehensive details, please see the flyer attached in the photos. Key information includes: dates (June 14th - 16th) venue (Camp Living Waters, Schellsburg, PA), and participant criteria (wrestlers in 7th-12th grades). Hosted by Bedford Wrestling and its coaching team, the camp features sessions led by skilled clinicians, including Kaden Cassidy, a two-time Division 1 National qualifier and Bedford's most recent PA state champion. The camp package includes all meals, training, and overnight stay. This camp provides an excellent platform for wrestlers to develop their skills under seasoned coaches in a secluded setting, with the added attraction of fishing in the creek stocked with trout that runs through the camp. Congratulations to Bedford wrestler, Sophia Genditzki, for her dominant season of pole vaulting where she set the school record with a vault of 11 feet!

CONGRATULATIONS Carter Kozielec Freestyle and Greco wrestling placing 2nd in Greco and 3rd in Freestyle in the PA State tournament. Carter secured his spot on the national team and heading to North Dakota. 🏅
