Today, our PreK students experienced the voting process firsthand as they voted for their favorite cookie. Students received a ballot, made their choice, used voting dividers for privacy, and proudly cast their votes.
Then came the math! Students helped count, chart, and tally the votes to see which cookie was the class favorite.
This hands-on experience builds important early skills in civic awareness, decision-making, communication, counting, data collection, and understanding that each person's choice matters.
We may be little, but we are already learning how our voices can make a difference!
