Friday night race results at GALLATIN SPEEDWAY

Heat race🔥 3rd to 3rd
Feature 🏁 2nd to 2nd

Started the heat race in 3rd but when I tried going to the lead the car started to miss. Barely held onto 3rd place by the end of the race. I forgot to add gas to the car before the race...

Went out for the feature and tried everything to get past the leader. With 5 to go I made a move for the lead and battled it out for a couple laps. Came home 2nd.

Friday night race update from GALLATIN SPEEDWAY

Heat 🔥 7th to 1st
Feature 🏁 4th to 2nd

Was a little worried starting 7th in heat race after fixing the car all week. Found speed early in the race and made a couple passes every lap and took the lead with 2 to go.

I lined up 4th in the feature and made it to 2nd on lap 1 and was racing for the lead before a massive wreck happened behind us. Had to restart on the bottom and got passed on the ouside by 3rd place, but got back up to 2nd again. Tried everything to get to the leader, but Tim Johnson's 30+ years of experience is very hard to beat.

The car is back together and feel just as good as before. We plan to finish the season out at home and Big Sky Speedway at the end of September.

Kids night race update from GALLATIN SPEEDWAY

Heat 🔥 3rd to 1st
Feature 🏁 2nd to 12th

Had a great heat race taking the win with a last lap pass. The car felt great and we had the car to beat. During intermission we gave out 75 Hot Wheels and 100 hero cards to all the kids that came out for kids night.

I lined up 2nd for the feature, but didn't get very far on first lap. I anticipated the track to hold a little bit of moisture, but when I went into turn 1 I over drove the car, got sideways and ended up wrecking almost half the field.

Unfortunately, after taking a good look at the car today we found enough damage that may bring an end to our season. The rear end housing cracked down the back of the pumpkin and the front frame horns were bent over an inch to the right. We'll try coming up with a plan to make it out to the track again the year, but if not we had a good run going.

Friday night race update from GALLATIN SPEEDWAY

Heat 🔥 5th to 3rd
Feature 🏁 3rd to 2nd

Started out the night with a tacky track and the car was too tight to make it up front. Started the feature in 3rd, got to 2nd on the first lap and took the lead on lap 2. I made a mistake on lap 3 and lost the lead and was paying catch up the rest of the race. We'll try to find some speed this week and come back stronger next Friday.

After taking a week off from racing we returned to Big Sky Speedway on Friday and Saturday night then shot down to Sheridan Speedway DBA Sheridan Motorsports Association on Sunday. We got our 4th win of the season and are currently leading the track championship at Big Sky Speedway.

Friday Night 🧹
Heat 🔥 2nd to 1st
Feature 🏁 4th to 1st

Got the lead on the first lap of the heat and kept it for the win. Started the feature in 4th and got the lead on lap 2, but we were cut short on lap 5 when the rain started causing the track officials to call the race.

Saturday night we made it to the track, but mother nature had other plans. Rain Out

Sunday Night
Heat 🔥 5th to 2nd
Feature 🏁 8th to 12th DNF

Made our first appearance at Sheridan Speedway this season, but didn't have luck come our way. Started in the back of the heat and made the pass for 2nd on the last lap. Started 8th in the feature and had a great setup hoping to get to the front, but got hit in the left rear on lap 1 ripping the tire apart. DNF

Clean 🧹🧹 this weekend at Big Sky Speedway !

Friday
Heat race🔥 3rd to 1st
Feature 🏁 3rd to 1st

Saturday
Heat race🔥 4th to 1st
Feature🏁 1st to 1st *spin to win*

Friday night the heat race was a bit of a struggle. After getting hit in the right front and having suspension damage I still managed to get a last lap pass for the win. In the feature I patiently waited for an opening to show and got the lead with 7 to go. Held off 2nd place to the line.

Saturday night in the heat I was patient again and got the lead halfway through. In the feature it was a different story. After packing the track for what felt like 30 laps we were finally able to go green. I started with the lead, but spun it on lap 2. Restarted in the back and had to work my way back through the field. Got the lead with 4 to go, but had a caution come out on the final lap. Held them off after the restart for win #3 this season!
