🌅 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 — CENTRAL VALLEY
📍 Murfreesboro, TN
⏰ 4–8 PM — NEW TIME!
🐎 4-hour trail ride
💰 $225 per rider
🔒 $100 deposit reserves your horse

We moved Friday’s ride to 4–8 PM to get out of the worst of the September heat and enjoy a cooler evening on the trails!

🍁 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 — NATCHEZ TRACE
📍 Franklin, TN
⏰ 9 AM–3 PM
🐎 6-hour trail ride
💰 $325 per rider
🔒 $100 deposit reserves your horse

If four hours never feels quite long enough, Saturday is your ride! Six hours to settle in, cover some miles, and spend the better part of the day horseback.

📍 Pulaski, TN
⏰ 9 AM–6 PM
🐎 ALL-DAY RIDE
💰 $375 per rider
🔒 $100 deposit reserves your horse

Sunday is the big one! Nine hours at Mize Cattle Co. for riders who want to spend the entire day in the saddle and get the full experience.

We’re making a time change to this Friday’s ride at Central Valley in Murfreesboro!

Instead of riding from 9 AM–1 PM, we’re moving the ride to the evening from 4–8 PM. 🌅 With the September heat still hanging around, we’d much rather wait for the temperatures to start dropping and enjoy a beautiful evening on the trails!

🐴 WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME WRANGLER!

American Oak Stables is still looking for the right person to join our team Tuesday–Thursday!

Interested? Send us a message with your horse experience, hauling/trailer experience and availability.

🐎 AMERICAN OAK STABLES IS LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME WRANGLER! 🐎

We’re looking to add an experienced, dependable wrangler to our team with Tuesday–Thursday availability.

This is NOT an entry-level horse position. We need someone who is confident around horses, comfortable hauling, and capable of safely taking charge of a group on the trail.

You must be able to:

- Confidently handle, tack, load/unload and manage multiple horses
- Drive a large-bodied diesel MANUAL truck — you must be comfortable driving stick
- Confidently pull, maneuver and back a 7-horse trailer
- Lead and manage trail rides with up to 8 clients at a time
- Assess riders and horses and make good decisions on the trail
- Handle unexpected situations calmly — horses being horses, nervous riders, trail obstacles, etc.
- Be friendly, patient and respectful with our clients while still being comfortable taking charge when safety requires it
- Be dependable and available Tuesday–Thursday

We’re looking for someone with real horse experience and strong horsemanship skills. You need to be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for both horses and riders.

☀️ RIDE CANCELED DUE TO HEAT ☀️

We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s all-day ride at Mize Cattle Co. The forecasted heat would make nine hours on the trail unsafe and uncomfortable for both our horses and riders.

We know this is disappointing, and we hate canceling, but our horses’ wellbeing will always come first.

Thank you for understanding and helping us put the herd first. 🐴

Perfect for an after-work Friday ride. We’ll hit the trails in the evening and ride into sunset. Beginner through advanced riders welcome.

🌳 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 — NATCHEZ TRACE
📍 Franklin

Four hours on some of our favorite Tennessee trails — a pretty perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. Beginner through advanced riders welcome.

🤠 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 — MIZE CATTLE CO.
📍 Pulaski
⏰ 9 AM–6 PM
🐎 ALL-DAY ride
💰 $375
This is the big one. We’ll spend the day riding our private property at Mize Cattle Co. — open fields, wooded trails, creek crossings, cattle country and plenty of time in the saddle. If you’ve been wanting the full AOS experience, pick Sunday.

You do NOT need your own horse. We provide the horses and experienced guides — you just need jeans, boots and a day you’re ready to spend outside. (You can bring your own mount for a guide fee - reach out to us with questions.)

A $100 deposit via Zelle reserves your horse, with the remaining balance due the day of your ride.

We only take a limited number of riders so everyone gets a safe, personal experience.

Come spend Friday evening in the saddle with us!

We’re heading out to East Fork Boat Ramp in Murfreesboro for a four-hour ride as the evening cools down and the sun starts to set — and this ride is open to ALL skill levels!
