Day 2 of progress on Sugar’s new putting green!

A special shoutout to Aidan Caswell and Ethan Otten for two days of hard work laying block and helping bring this project to life. 💪

It was a hot day out for our Senior Member Guest. 8 Teams battling it out playing 9 Holes of Best Ball and 9 Holes of Chapman Alternate Shot.
The tournament ended up being decided with a 3 team sudden death playoff on Hole #18 using the Chapman Alternate Shot format with all teams shooting (-1) 70 respectfully.

Gerry Raasch and Tom Lawell won the playoff with a Par, while Alan Eakle and Richard Morris took second place with a 5 and Michael Poth and David Clay finished the playoff hole with a 6.

Congrats to Gerry and Tom for the victory in exciting fashion and thanks to all the participants that made this event possible.

Paul and his Grounds Team are hard at work today installing fairway and greenside irrigation for Sugar Valley’s new short-game practice area.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your greenside bunker game, dial in those 70-yard approaches, or just spend some time working on your scoring clubs, this is where you’ll be practicing in 2027!
