Thanks everyone for the birthday love! It's great to see some names I haven't seen in a while. Appreciate all the well wishes through FB and text. It's been an incredible journey so far and looking forward to the next adventure!

For you all that don’t know…. I officially picked up a set of bonus twins (Colton and Maci) on 12/31/23 when Samantha Greenfield and I said “we do”.

Those twins came with an additional bonus along with their mom…. …. Our girl twin that has as much tenacity and attitude for 3 sets of twins is a wrestler and I so excited to coach her along side of my son Myles Greenfield.

She has begun her state series and she is going to make some noise…. Although I am not her “favorite coach” as you can see in these pictures, Coach David Pearce and the Bulls Wrestling Club has taken her in and she is so excited to be part of a great family of other wrestlers and a strong group of girl wrestlers that is growing daily.

Good luck to you Maci Lee as we battle our way to Rockford! I am excited to help you chase your goals and dreams!

Another great opportunity to get on the mat for you all that haven’t been on it for a while. You mat rats…. Keep grinding!!

Illinois Freestyle Championships in the books……

Congratulations to the following GWA Wrestlers:

Maci Schaefer (10U-65 lbs.) who won her 1st Freestyle State Championship.

Myles Greenfield (12U-108 lbs.) who won his 2nd Freestyle State Championship and his 4th state medal in 4 years of competition.

Landon Weidler, (12U-108 lbs.) 3rd place, and his 3rd medal in 4 years of competition.

Killian Rauch- (14U-130 lbs.) 3rd place, 2nd medal in 2 years of competition.

Jackson Schadegg- (14U-92 lbs.) DNP, he has medaled in 3 of 4 years of competition.

Dominic Thebeau- (18U/JR.-182 lbs.) Runner-Up, who has one multiple state Freestyle Titles, Kids All-American, & Cadet(16U) Fargo All-American.

Each of these kids are on their own path to success, and I am thankful to their parents who support them on their path to success. I really appreciate these kids as well. It’s not always easy to balance school, multiple sports and activities, and just plain ole’ growing up, but these kids find a way to do all of that at a high level! Thank you to each of you individually and the rest of our GWA and our past present and future Belleville Little Devils kids as you are all paying the price to be great in a sport that is both physically and mentally more demanding that anything you’ll ever participate in your entire life!
