Choreographed a Swarajathi in Todi Varnam today for my students. On the occasion of International Dance Day, I thought of sharing this special moment. Grateful to pass on this beautiful art to the next generation

This beautiful composition of Saint Sri Annamayya on Sri Padmavathi Devi—the divine consort of Sri Venkateshwara Swami of Tirumala—was brought to life through a unique vision by Raji Ram ma’am. She introduced the novel idea of interpreting this divine piece through the lens of Śṛṅgāra rasa, adding a fresh and evocative dimension to the choreography.

I had the wonderful opportunity to present this original choreography, exploring a new interpretation of Śṛṅgāra bhava. The entire journey—from practice sessions with Raji ma’am to the final performance—was truly enriching and joyful.

Sri Abhihita Nrithyalaya kids participated in A Night of Icons event organized by the Pravaah Foundation, a wonderful fundraising initiative.

Proud and happy to share that our students secured 3rd place in the Under-10 category and 2nd place in the Teen category.

This Pushpanjali holds a lot of memories—from all the practice sessions to finally seeing it on stage. All of it came together and reflected so beautifully in the performance.
