Wolverines Wrestling Club

The Wolverines wrapped up the 2026 season with a fourth consecutive year state placer and a strong showing at the WIAA 3A State Championships. Sophomore Will Serres set the pace, securing a 6th-place finish at 215 lbs weight class. Sophomore Denny Lemme and junior captains Andy Chen and Shaan Kahlon fought their way into the blood rounds, showcasing the grit and toughness of the program. Seniors Danil Klimov and Uri Younker also delivered impressive performances on the state stage both going 3-2 in the tournament. Bellevue placed 23rd out of 73 teams.

For the first time since 2009, the Bellevue Wrestling Team captured the 3A King County Championship, finishing with 215 points and outscoring second place by 33. A total of 21 Wolverines competed for state qualification, with 10 advancing to the WIAA State Championships on February 19th.

On Friday, the Lady Wolverines competed in the 3A King County Tournament, highlighted by Jai Masunu winning her bracket and Sahori Ouedraogo earning a fourth-place finish in her respective weight class.

This concludes our Dual meet season! Wolverines finished 9-1. Last week’s fall to Inglemoor eliminated us for the opportunity for the first ever 3A Dual Meet States. We gear up for the KingCo State Qualifier Tournament next Saturday 2/7/2026 !

Post Season is here!

Bellevue Wrestling fell to Inglemoor 44-32 on Thursday night’s dual, marking the first loss of the season. The evening was highlighted by honoring our 14 seniors, each of whom sacrificed and contributed immensely to the growth of our culture and program.

Notable victories on the night came from Zach Ong, Logan Lorenzo, Danil Kilmov, Blake Cutler and William Hartano, all proudly wearing the gold singlet in recognition of their seniority and leadership.
