This years Summer Farm Camp dates are up! Make sure to register before they are gone! This year will offer five, two day sessions throughout the month of July. Each day kids will learn what it means to live on a farm; collecting chicken eggs, feeding the pygmy goats, sheep, and ponies, playing in streams, doing arts and crafts, archery, sports, and more in a safe environment. Now that winter is in our wake, the farm is gearing up for Spring!! I believe the horses will start shedding out soon with all our warm weather. New chicks arrive in a couple of weeks! We are so excited our ducks lasted the winter as they are unable to roost like the chickens (and get away from the coyotes).

Also, we will be getting new bees soon. Need to start ordering them now from California - no doubt they are all busy pollinating the almond crops down there. 2 of our hives wintered well but due to 1 day of extreme heat last summer, 1 hive swarmed and we lost 'em. Such a blow to us just when we felt like we were moving out of 'novice' status!

Farm camp dates are here at last!!! Farm camp will be offered in 2-day sessions this summer- 2015. The dates are : July 15-16, July 20-21, July 22-23, July 27-28, and July 29-30. It will run from 9am - 3pm. We are so excited to see everyone after a year of growth - hope we still recognize you all!

Yippie kay yay! We had a rootin tootin good time in July. We are getting so excited for our August camps! It is not too late to sign up!!
