We’re trying something a little different…

The Hub Community Education program presents the Environmental Film Series, a curated collection of documentaries and feature films addressing important environmental issues. Our first installment is this Wednesday (04/05) from 6-8pm and will feature To The Ends of the Earth, a documentary - synopsis below. This is a free offering with free popcorn. We hope you’ll join us! (1320 Commercial St)

"To the Ends of the Earth" follows concerned citizens living at the frontiers of extreme oil and gas extraction, bearing witness to a global crossroads. They call for human ingenuity to rebuild society at the end of the fossil fuel era.

Raffle bike #2 on the scene! This ones for the five fivers, give or take an inch-ish! Before gravel became such a buzzword in the bicycle industry, existed the humble touring bike. Don’t let it’s relatively subdued appearance fool you…This domestically handmade (twice) Cannondale is full of class, with plenty of sass!

Hecka light aluminum frame drippin’ in sparkles, sturdy steel fork, and a fun mix of some real tough cookie parts. Double wall wheels, 3x9 gearing with plenty of options, controlled by some custom-hacksaw-tuned vintage friction shifters. Racks, kickstand, three bottle cage mounts…what more could you want? Get some tix no’ hit the road, bud!

Tickets $20 each or 6 for $100!
Raffle closes Sunday at 2!

(Pssst….we’ll have a XL Cannondale touring frame set similar to this one for sale this weekend!)

Raffle bike number 1 is alive! Since there is very limited larger sized frames available this weekend, this ones for the 6 footers! (To be exact, a long legged 5’9” to 6’)

This radical refurbished GT Karakoram measures in at 21” up the seat tube, and 23” across the top, in the flavor of steel. High quality vintage Deore drivetrain components, zesty polished Ritchey wheelset, topped off with a hard-squeezin’ Ubrake. Unfortunately, the classic GT internal cable routing is permanently damaged yielding it unusable, but a clever workaround was found. Totally unique, and ready to rip!

Tickets will be sold for $20 each, or 6 for $100! Raffle closes 2pm Sunday.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s bike!
