Today we continue to thank all the local businesses who have provided donations for our June Volunteer Appreciation Party! Over 400 people showed up from Mt Baker to Bellingham Bay to volunteer their time and energy and we are grateful that The North Fork Brewery, Pizzeria and Beer Shrine, Bellingham Bells, Fairhaven Stones Throw Brewery and The Upfront Theatre acknowledge and reward that hard work by offering items to celebrate our volunteers, THANK YOU!

On another note, we are aware that our website is temporarily down and it is being worked on.

Most popular post race question: swapping out your beanie for a competitor shirt or purchasing a shirt. All of our inventory was claimed this weekend so we are unable to make any exchanges.

Join our Executive Director Anna for a Packet Pickup Tutorial! Hours are 12 - 5 today and 11 - 4 tomorrow. A friendly reminder that all of your racers MUST be confirmed prior to picking up your team packet and only one representative from each team picks up. We'll see you soon at the Port of Bellingham Ferry Terminal. Have a great race weekend!

Unless you are picking up a kayak at the finish line, please leave your car at home! OR leave it downtown, park at the Parkade or Depot Market Square and jump on the bus ($1) which will have service every 10 minutes from 11 - 7 pm on race day. OR ride your bike to the finish line and use our bike corral service! We promise, driving won't get you there any faster!

UPDATE: WMBC will not be providing parking at the Evil Bikes lot this year. Another great reason to walk, bike or bus!

The donations for our hard working volunteers continue to roll in. Huge thanks to Wander Brewing, Whatcom Museum, and Kulshan Brewing Company for supporting our crews! If you have a business that would like to donate to our Volunteer Appreciation Party June 9th, send us a DM!

Race day doesn’t end at the finish line!

After cheering on Ski to Sea teams at Marine Park on Sunday, keep the celebration going throughout the Village with live music, local food and drinks, shopping and community events happening all day long.

The Fairhaven Festival is evolving this year into a village wide celebration highlighting the businesses, restaurants and public spaces that make Fairhaven special. While the traditional street fair format is changing, Fairhaven will still be full of energy on race day with plenty to explore after the race.
