As always, tips are personal. Get with your coach or dm us.

Find your 5k pace or slower than ya think pace on the row and settle in, you can always go faster if you feel good. This is a great spot to rest in the workout with slower pacing instead of wasting time not working during the other movements.

No need to go unbroken on deadlifts, even if you can. Again, you can do that later in the workout if feeling good. Singles will save your posterior chain and effort being completed, they also aren’t much slower if you move fast on them. Go ahead and use a switch/mixed grip, it makes the load feel lighter and moves faster and saves your grip. (We are “competing” for funzies after all, don’t use this often)

Do not redline early! Or do… it could be more fun that way….

This is a great one to put your head down and go. Low skill. Like last week. Find your happy place and just… keep….moving.

Week 2 y’all, give it hell.

Anand retested with us today.

In 3 months time he’s lost over 23lbs

He beat his old self by 3:35 in his baseline workout

He mentioned how much… happier… he feels.

How he looks forward to training everyday.

He spoke about culture and community.

It’s working…

His effort and results are just the beginning.

Bharat has made big life changes!

Today he beat his old self in a workout by 2:57.

He gained muscle mass and lost body fat% over the course of 3 months.

His health markers have improved.

The cooler story…

We haven’t seen many people as committed to the process as him that come through our ROOTS program.

He’s found a lot of enjoyment having a movement practice in his life.

He reported feeling more confident.

His new found will and determination has him waking up every morning 2 hours earlier than he once did with energy. He has a morning routine that dials him in for his day.

He’s made lifestyle changes to his nutrition and daily habits and is motivated to keep going.

Commitments to ourselves can create massive change in our lives and we are sure proud of this dude.

Be like Bharat.

Matthew wrapped up 3 months on our ROOTS program today.

He beat his old self by over 4:05 on his baseline workout, going from 10:43 to 6:38.

He’s mentioned changes in his mindset, mentality, and stress levels to go along with this big fitness improvement he’s had.

Come enjoy a challenging hike this Saturday morning led by Ashwini Nayak MD! Ashwini is also a life coach and will be leading a conversation about cultivating strength during uncertain times.

We will also put this to the test during the hike itself and an option to jump in the rivers cold waters at the completion of the hike!

We meet at 7:30am at the trailhead. Apple Maps and the AllTrails app both have the trail “Dirty Harry’s Peak Trail” use either to map it.

The hike we are doing takes roughly 3 hours round trip to complete + about an hour of hangs, river jumping, and conversation.

Plan accordingly!
