As one of only a handful of golf courses in America that dates back to the 19th Century, Bellport’s pristine 18-hole layout provides a compelling golf experience. Originally designed by golf architect Seth Raynor and modified by Robert Trent Jones and Bill Love, the golf course borders the Great South Bay. Situated on South Country Road in the Village of Bellport, the Course measures 6,329 yards from the black tees; 6,011 yards from the blue tees; white tees measure 5,539 yards and ladies red tees measure 5,078. This Seth Raynor gem is a par 71 that is enjoyable to play for both high and low handicapped golfers. The average play time is 4 hours.

Round one of the Club Championship is finished.

The Men’s Championship Flight saw 5 rounds in the 70s (Dabrowski 71, Auerbach 73, Keller 74, Aronsen 77, White Jr 78), but none were better than Kevin Lauretti’s 3 under, 68.

Debbie Capozzi (81) leads the Women’s Championship flight by 7 strokes after the first 18 holes. Lee Redvanly (88) is in second. Wendy Foster (90) rounds out the flight.

Tomorrow’s Women’s Championship tees off at 9:30am. The Men’s Championship will begin at 10:00am, with the leaders going off at 10:40am.

Earlier this month, we dodged the rain and were able to hold our 2026 Junior Club Championship.
In the 9 Hole division, Jake Arnold was able to post a front nine score of 44 to edge out Noah Kulbolkas. Noah posted a score of 45.
In our 18 hole division, Jacob Andersen started off hot, posting a front nine score of 33 (-2); his back nine score of 37 gave him a total score of 70 (-1). Zach Berger was on his tail, posting nines of 37-35 for a score of 72 (+1). Ray Woosley rounded out our top three, with a score of 79 (+8).

Had a great time earlier this week at the Women’s Member/Guest tournament!

Congratulations to Kathy Laguardia, Catherine Cervelli, Bobbie Bauer & Rosie Terrible who shot 60 to take home the Net Championship. Debbie Capozzi and her guests (Annette Broderick, Carrie Gangl & Christina Macina) took home the Gross Championship needing just 72 shot to get around.

It was a great day all around and couldn't have been done without you! Thank you again for playing!!

The champs are here!! Congratulations to our 2024 Club Champions, Lee Redvanly and Michael Auerbach were able to hold off the field to claim the title!

Lee Redvanly was able to fight off a comeback by Michele White to claim her 9th BGC club championship. In the men's division, Michael was able to battle to win his 4th championship here at Bellport Golf Club.

Great playing to all competitors and most of all, thank you for playing.
