I guess our unexpectedly dark night paddle adventure resulted in 1 tragic loss… one of our very own Anchored Soul tribe members. 🥹💔

Gone but not forgotten. Somewhere out there is my beloved paddle, probably wondering why its family abandoned it. 🤣🏄‍♀️

Please help reunite this paddle with its reluctantly irresponsible owner! 😂🧡

And since I’m using last year’s Halloween photo as evidence of this paddle’s existence, consider this my shameless plug for our upcoming 11th Annual Halloween SUP-or- Treat! 👻🎃🤣

Just another Wednesday night on the water! 🌅🛶🤣

Tonight’s weekly social paddle started with a little unexpected excavation project! 😂 Had to dig through 6 inches of mud just to reach the water, and apparently a stand-up paddleboard paddle doubles as a shovel! Who knew?! 🤷‍♀️🤣

Mother Nature put on quite the show! We spotted a beaver 🦫 (and I actually caught him on video! 🎥), enjoyed a visit from a beautiful blue heron, and listened to coyotes howling along with the emergency sirens in the distance! 🐺🚨🌙

Mud, wildlife, a little wilderness engineering, and plenty of laughs… never a dull moment with this paddle crew! ❤️

Some people go out for dinner and entertainment on Wednesday nights. We just grab our paddles and let Mother Nature handle the entertainment! 🤣🛶🌊

I don’t usually experience a failure during my paddles, BUT yesterday I managed to pull one off on Dutchman Creek! 😬 I failed to check sunset time and got distracted while paddling. So, we ended up paddling back on a pitch black river with absolutely no lights.🌚
Lots of blue herons squawking, accompanied by police, ambulance, and fire truck sirens in the distance. Nothing quite like a little emergency-response ambiance to enhance an already questionable situation! 🚨🤣
All in all, it was a great 2 mile paddle with some delicious adult beverages to follow at Muddy River Distillery 🍹 🥃.
A HUGE thank-you to my friends and fellow paddlers for not staging a mutiny, throwing me overboard, or filing a formal complaint against their fearless (and apparently time-blind) leader! 🤪🤣

Another beautiful morning on Lake Wylie! ⚓️💦☀️
I had the pleasure of taking 8 amazing ladies from the new Carolina Riverside neighborhood in Belmont out for a morning paddle today. Great weather, great water, lots of laughs, and even better company!
One of my favorite things about Anchored Soul has always been introducing people to time on the water and watching a group of neighbors turn into a little paddle crew. 💙
Thanks for spending your morning on the lake with Anchored Soul, ladies! I hope this is the first of many paddles together. 🏄‍♀️⚓️
