Hi, Everyone. We’d like to help. Very much. I personally wish to contribute to much more than the amount I currently can and so would Emmie. So... we really, really hope this works. We are offering 2 Ayurvedic Consultations in this raffle-style fundraiser. Every $10 you donate to counts as one entry. Just send a screen shot of your contribution receipt to either of us in a private message. We will tally up the entries, and draw 2 names. ⚫️
Heather’s Work: Ayurvedic Therapeutics are heavily based in diet, utilizing food as medicine. An elaborate system of clinical herbalism, detoxification, breath work, meditation, and daily routine are also major elements of an Ayurvedic Consultation. An appointment with Heather is usually $108.
⚫️
Emmie’s Work: see first Comment below & link in bio.
An appointment with Emmie is usually $150. ⚫️
Taking care of ourselves makes us more effective in the world, more able to perform the actions that are needed for racial justice now, and for the long term. We want to help bolster up our community and offer as much support as we possibly can. ⚫️
Thank you. We love you.

As I walked by the river last night I came to a bend in the path & a couple walking their dog was coming toward me. They didn’t see me right away and the man recoiled at my presence physically and verbally. “Woah! Hang on a sec,” he said as he stepped away from me, even though we had more than 6’ between us. “Do you have your mask on?” He asked his wife. She did. They were protecting themselves in a way that felt comfortable to them in proximity to me, a potential COVID-carrying threat. Intellectually I understood his reaction and emotionally it struck right through my heart and I cried walking home. Today, thinking about and ALL people of color in this country I realized that in 38 years of living that was my FIRST time experiencing what it feels like to be minding one’s own business and have your very existence be a threat to others. The fleeting hurt I felt was painful, and it isn’t a fair comparison by any means to the regular heartache and inevitable anger black people, in particular, are exposed to daily. I love you all. May we come together as humans and live up to our potential to deeply care for one another as brothers and sisters and children of our shared Mother Earth.
