Today was a good day for BHS sports. After a very successful season with increasing numbers of racers on the team, 5 athletes qualified for MIAA Alpine Ski Championships. As far as anyone can remember back, this may be a record for the team.

This team continues to grow in numbers and strength over the years. Another season full of hard work, growth, perseverance, and lots of fun. Lots of personal bests - both individually and as a TEAM.
We'll miss our seniors but looking forward to what next season will bring.

33 Belmont racers enjoyed ideal conditions, challenged themselves, and cheered their teammates during our first ever Belmont only race yesterday.
Thanks to these althetes that continue to show up and work hard, to Coach McCarthy for working to make this happen and to the parents for volunteering and coming out to cheer on the team.

Exciting week ahead for Belmont Alpine with SL race #2 on Tuesday and our first ever Belmont only race on Friday where the entire team will get to race GS and SL.

Skis are sharpened and waxed and the team is gearing up for their first GS race of the season at 3:30 at Nashoba Valley.

'Twas the night before the Ski Sale, and all through the house Not a racer was sleeping, not even a mouse. The old skis were propped by the garage door with care, In hopes that new equipment would soon just be there.

The children were restless, not quite in their beds, While visions of slaloms danced in their heads. With Mom in her fleece, and I in my cap, We'd just mapped our strategy, checking the swap-map.

We knew in the morning there'd arise such a clatter, The BHS Race Team was all that mattered! "We must be there first, for the deals and the finds, For the sharpest of edges and the best of the grinds!"

The lists were all written, the budgets were set, For the greatest ski bargains we'd ever get. We needed new helmets, new poles, and new boots, New bindings, new goggles, new race-team suits!

"Now, Völkl! Now, Rossi! Now, Lange and Blizzard! On, Atomic! On, Leki! We're shopping like wizards! To the front of the line! To the gym's open door! Now dash away, dash away, find bargains galore!"

The alarm was set early, the cash was all counted, The anticipation had seriously mounted. We'll spring from our beds at the first hint of light, Happy Ski Sale to all, and to all a good night!

Belmont High School Ski Team Celebrates 30th Year Belmont High Ski Team celebrates 30 years with reflections from alumni and details on upcoming fundraiser ski sale at Chenery School.

Thanks to everyone that came to the sale today. The event was a massive success and the race team could not do this without the support from the community.

11 years ago BHS Freshman Ski Racer Rhys purchased his first pair of skis at the BHS ski race team ski sale.

Come get the gear for your family tomorrow at the annual BHS Ski sale, happening at Chenery Middle School, Belmont from 11 am.

This coming Saturday (11th November) we have the annual BHS Ski race team sale. We are also holding an online auction which includes two Adirondack chairs that are up for grabs.

These chairs make a perfect edition to any patio, deck or ski house. All proceeds benefit the BHS Ski team, bidding is live now and ends at 3pm Saturday 11/11.
