The Belvidere Lions Club Foundation wrapped up their Summer Concert Season tonight. The evening was warm with a slight breeze and music filled the air. “Craig Sailer Project” with Classic Rock and Country.

The Belvidere Leo’s Club assisted the Belvidere Lions Club with sales at our popcorn cart during Belvidere Victorian Day. Many visitors attended this annual event and fun was had by all.
District Governor Michael Moyer was busy assisting at both this event and the White Township Community Day where we offered. Free Eye Screening and Eye Glass Cleanings. Yes, it was a busy day and our Motto was well represented.

Our charitable foundation is pleased that our final Rockin the Red Barn summer concert series was a resounding success. Many thanks to all who supported our summer series and especially the Town of Belvidere and the Lions volunteering to make these concerts possible. As the District Governor of 16N my new post may take me out the area but my heart will always be in Belvidere.
See you all at our concert on October 9th at 6:00pm at the Belvidere Presbyterian Church on Mansfield Street. We are asking a $10.00 donation to support the Belvidere Community Lunch program. Our musical entertainment on October 9th is Rich Berry.

What a beautiful afternoon at the White Township Community Day Celebration. Over 60 vision screens performed by Lions Paul Mourry, Robert Lyman and Valerie Tishuk. DG Mike Moyer attended for moral support.
We were also attending the Belvidere Victorian Day raising LIONS awareness and selling popcorn. Thank you BHS Leo's for all your help.
