Warriors repeat as Section 8-4A champs; Lumberjacks fight until somber end An emotional Section 8-4A Tournament concluded on Friday morning in Brainerd, with the Bemidji High School softball team finishing one win short of a trip to state.

Even though the girls weren’t ready to be done yet, our season has come to an end. Congratulations girls on a hard fought 2nd place in section 8-4A.

It is definitely something worth celebrating!

Bemidji Softball Defeats Brainerd in Section Semis After 24-Hour Postponement

Bemidji stuns Brainerd in resumed 8-4A semis, hosts championship game Thursday When the Jacks left Brainerd on Wednesday afternoon, they took their ticket to the section championship game with them And they needed a dramatic comeback to do it.

The Section 8AAAA Championship game will be in BEMIDJI!! Thanks to a four-run 7th inning, Bemidji Lumberjack Softball pulls off a 6-5 comeback victory over top seed Brainerd across two days!

Bemidji will host the winner between Brainerd and St. Cloud in the championship game—with the Jacks needing just one win for the title—tomorrow at 5pm at the BHS Softball Field. Pregame will be at 4:30 on KBUN-FM 104.5 and kbunsportsradio.com!

And the GIRLS did it!! 6-5 win over Brainerd. On to the section Championship Game 5 o’clock tomorrow at HOME!!
