Road Tripping from Portland, Oregon to Minneapolis, Minnesota is a long trek but well worth it when your pit stops are to golf and fish! Tough day battling wind but managed to catch a couple of rainbow trout!

Ranger had a blast at the Game farm the other day. His training is coming along great and he is pointing on birds already! Can’t wait for what the future has in store!

Ranger with his first wild bird! It was incredible to watch him track this winged ruffed grouse. I thought for sure that we were going to lose him when sure enough as I was about to give up comes Ranger crashing through the buckthorn chasing this wounded bird that had hid himself under an old stump! This was his second hunt ever besides camp and he flushed 3 grouse! Can’t wait for what the future has in store!
~ Ranger has attended his bird and gun intro at West Country Kennels and is 6 1/2 months old now.

Weather did not cooperate but did manage to catch some keepers and a few nice bonus fish!

Ranger is growing up fast! Can’t believe he is 4 months already!
2 months away from starting bird training.

As Ice season is getting closer to the end, It was an unforgettable winter with pretty mild temperatures and many memories made with great friends and family! Until next year!
master braid is my first choice when I start chasing bigger fish through the ice, 8lb is great for ice fishing or even 10 when it comes to pike followed by a fluorocarbon leader.

**PB Alert** Caught my biggest walleye to date and it put up an incredible fight! Just shy of 28.5” and weighed 10lbs! Caught it last second of the trip and came in suspended on helix 7, 6ft off bottom and crushed buckshot spoon in purple uv color!
- Shoutout to Borderview Lodge for accommodations, our 4th year staying with them!
Mojo ice M handled it nicely!
helix 7 worked great all weekend.
