Direct Care Staff open position!! Full time and part time availability

As our participant attendance keeps growing so is our staffing needs!
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Staff to provide support to the individuals that we serve. If you are passionate about helping the elderly and/ or disabled in the community stay independent and living at home longer, we may be the place for you! Our mission is to promote not only the individuals attending healthy aging and a meaningful quality of life, but their family and caregivers support and resources as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living.
• Support community participation and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and daily progress notes.
• Follow individualized care plans and ensure client safety.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family members.
• Provide transportation to and from the facility with a company vehicle.
• maintain a clean and safe environment.

The Director of Care promotes a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment while fostering participant independence, dignity, and quality of life. Working under the Registered Nurse, the Director of Care ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that support participants physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being. As the Director of Care, the job duties include:

-Supporting caregiver engagement.
-Coordinates the implementation of participant care and care plans.
-Monitors participant needs and communicates changes in the client's condition to the Registered Nurse.
-Assists with participant assessments, admissions, and ongoing care.
-Ensures participants records and documentation are complete, current, and accurate.
-Promotes a culture of passion, teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
-Assists with staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and participant safety.

The month of February was a fun and busy time! From Coffee with Cops, personalized pizzas for National Pizza Day, mock-tail margaritas for National Margarita Day, Spa Days, to one of the clients favorites, the monthly goat visit.
