🦌 BUCKS WIN! 🦌
The Bemidji Bucks returned to the win column Wednesday night with a 13-6 victory over the Agassiz Gamblers at Bemidji State University.
Carter Scanlon turned in a dominant performance on the mound, striking out 10 batters over six innings of work to earn the win. The right-hander allowed just five hits while helping the Bucks control the game from the start.
Bemidji jumped out early, scoring three runs in the first inning before adding two more in the third. The Bucks continued to pressure the Gamblers throughout the night, taking advantage of patient at-bats and aggressive baserunning.
Ethan Biehn led the offense with two hits from the leadoff spot, while Ben Corradi and Heaton Brodina each drove in two runs. The Bucks showed tremendous discipline at the plate, drawing 10 walks in the contest. Peyton Neadeau and Mason Wolf each collected two free passes.
Ty Lundeen shut the door in relief with a scoreless inning, striking out two.
The Bucks were also flawless defensively, committing no errors on the night. Mason Wolf anchored the defense and recorded a team-high 17 chances behind the plate.

The Bucks will hit the road this Saturday as they travel to Grand Rapids to take on the Miners.

The Bemidji Bucks return home Wednesday night as they welcome the Agassiz Gamblers from Thief River Falls to Bemidji State University for a midweek townball showdown.
The Bucks are looking to bounce back after a busy weekend at the First City Showdown Tournament, while the Gamblers come to town looking to spoil the Bucks’ return home. These two clubs have built a competitive rivalry over the years, and another entertaining matchup is expected under the lights at BSU.
Weather could be a factor throughout the evening, with chances for showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, but if Mother Nature cooperates, fans should be in for a great night of amateur baseball.
