Toddler curiosity moves fast, and standing water anywhere in the house (not just the pool) deserves the same level of caution.

Swim lessons don’t end when class is over. The skills your child practices each week can keep growing at home with just a few minutes of fun and simple practice.

Blowing bubbles in the bathtub. Flutter kicks on the side of the bed. Holding a streamline on the living room floor. Little moments like these help build confidence and make a big difference in the pool.

To make it easy, we’ve created at-home activities for every swim level, so you can help your swimmer keep practicing between lessons. 💧

Before a baby’s first swim lesson, comfort with water often starts somewhere much smaller: bath time. 🛁

Those calm, unhurried moments can help water begin to feel familiar. When you introduce your baby to the pool, take the same approach. Hold your baby while you sit together on the steps. Let them feel the water at their toes before going any farther. End while they’re still enjoying it.

For babies, it all starts with small, positive moments with a parent close by. Reach out to learn more about ParentTot classes for babies as early as 4 months. 🌊

Your child's swimsuit color can be the reason why you save them in an emergency. 🎨

Bright, bold colors like neon orange or lime green stand out against blue pool water, ocean waves, and light sand, making a swimmer easier to spot quickly if something goes wrong. Neutrals and pastels blend right in, making it difficult to see a child in the water.

Stock up before your next lesson and ask our front desk what colors show up best in their pool. 🌊
