Tip #4 - Use the Wall
When a ball goes past you, throw out your arms wide to the side to prevent the ball from rebounding off the wall behind you and bouncing back to the throwing team.

Tip #3: Catching > Throwing
A good catcher is worth ten good throwers. A catch is a two-player swing -- one opposing player goes out, your team's player comes back in. You don't have to be a strong thrower to be a valuable dodgeball player.

Tip #2: Communicate
Remember, this is a TEAM sport. Talk to your teammates about who to target, count down to throw together, and let them know if they need to move to a different part of the court.

As we gear up for the first game of the season on January 25, we'll be sharing some tips and tricks to help you make the most of each game.
Tip #1:
Throw with your shoulder! First timers often complain about sore arms after their first game. We want you to throw with your whole arm, shoulder, and body to reduce the stress on your elbow and bicep.
