🎷🏉 THE OLD BOYS STILL HAVE IT.
Well… mostly. 😂
The Old Boys Showcase brought some vintage rugby back to the Cascade Classic, with the Denver Highlanders RFC Old Boys taking the win 29–12.
There may have been a few slower legs, a few louder complaints, and possibly a hamstring or two negotiating its retirement package — but once the whistle went, the rugby was still there.
Huge respect to everyone who pulled on the boots and proved that age is just a number… until you have to recover the next morning. 🍻

The Old Boys Showcase returns to the 2026 Cascade Classic, and we’re excited to welcome the Denver Highlanders Old Boys (Denver Highlanders RFC) to Bend for a special exhibition fixture.
A celebration of rugby tradition, touring culture, and the friendships built through this game — this is a match for everyone who knows that rugby doesn’t end when the playing days slow down.
Expect plenty of experience, a few classic stories, and maybe a reminder that the old boys still know how to put on a show. 😉

From the host side defending home turf to the Oranges making the trip back to Bend, the Sea Lions crossing the Cascades, and a four-club motley coming together for the day — this is going to be one hell of a women’s competition.
The final fixture schedule is still being worked out following a late team withdrawal, but we’ll have the full matchups and timings out as soon as they’re locked in.
