A quick stopover in Salzburg, Austria 🇦🇹 to see the Sound of Music iconic pavilion ☔️ , Fortress Hohensalzburg, beer garden, scenic playgrounds, an early run with Kloey to hear the nuns sing (we missed them), and cobblestone streets off the beaten path.

A fun weekend at Hood to Coast with new and old friends on Team Jorts!
We all ran in Jean shorts bc well that’s what you do on team Jorts.👖That flamingo 🦩 lasted a whole 10 minutes but the point is we tried. 😂 Lots of laughs, cowbell, Kelly’s playlist 🎵, snafu avoidance, spreadsheet tracking, dusty road in the middle of the night running blind, and having and all around rockstar team to do it with.

7 years ago today, I ran my first ultramarathon: the Mt. Hood 50 miler.
Not only was the race an incredible experience, but I had by far the largest support crew out there! A total of 9 family members came out to cheer me on!
That is the biggest takeaway for me… no matter what you try to achieve make sure you surround yourself with people who are in your corner and cheer you on.
