Endurance Athlete

The career path of a pro athlete is never smooth or easy. Darragh () jumped onto this journey and committed to the uncertainty that it guaranteed. It has been an honor to assist her with process and to be there with her at the highs while offering support when things didn’t go as well as planned. As with all our athletes it is the passion and commitment to being active outdoors that is more important than races and results, so knowing that Darragh will still be hitting the trails, exploring deeper into the backcountry, and keep sharing her smile and excitement for endurance sports with everyone meets she will be part of the Endurance Athlete family forever.

The long weekend of Age Group World Championships has started with a podium finish for Endurance Athlete triathlete . 3rd place in the Super Sprint on Thursday and already recovering and focused on Saturdays Olympic Distance Championships. Great job Jim.

Fall is here and winter is coming. XC ski training moves into another period with increased focus on ski specific workouts with intensities and movements as the focus.

Congrats to on completely her first 100 mile MTB race and getting on the podium as well. Tons of growth and learning happens during an endurance event like this. Darragh will be back at another ultra-endurance race soon and looking to implement things she learned.

Spring striding. The start of the 22/23 cross country ski season is starting with spring training camps. Coming off the post race season rest period and straight onto snow is a great way to start the new training cycle.

It is road riding season.

Coach Greg spend sometime away from the snow to support some World Cup MTB riders during their training camp in Santa Cruz, CA. He did get out for a few short rides, but the support staff role is a 16+hr day. The learning and inspiration gained during these camps is priceless.
