Where it Started

Started as Hitch Masters in Van Nuys, California in 1974 we made custom fabricated trailer hitch and tow bars. In 1979 we aquired a pantograph cutting machine and began saving the templates and data for each specific vehicle. 1981 we bought a small CPM based computer with a whooping 10 megabyte hard drive! then we began cataloging a database of vehicles with the matching patterns and templates of each vehicle we touched. In 1997 the internet was becoming something we truly felt would change the industry. The minute we could have a secure credit card ordering system we took our database of all the hitches made in the USA online in a web page called Hitch-net.com...
