UNC fully supports the re-evaluation of High Park and how all methods of transportation are managed within the space. Toronto is a major city that is growing faster than the supporting infrastructure can sustain. Locations such as Central Park in New York, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Gatineau Park in Ottawa, Royal Parks in London & the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco all have car-free zones to eliminate conflict amongst those utilizing and enjoying the park.

We're proud to support The High Park Movement Strategy as it is currently the best legitimate avenue to advocate for change. We want to encourage everyone to join the townhall on July 27th and vote for your say in how the roads within the park should be managed. Link in our bio for more information!

A genuine enthusiast for cycling and pursuing adventures on the bike, Addie joined our team this season and has quickly added racing to her repertoire.

Why Cycling?
"Cycling is a way for me to create and be involved in an amazing community of people. Being able to challenge myself, push myself, and achieve goals really excites me I’m terms of cycling. Cycling has allowed me to not only stay active doing something I love, but it has also taken me on many amazing adventures!"

What advice could you give to to someone wanting to try cycling?
"Just go for it, you won’t look back!!"

How has UNC helped your cycling?
"UNC has helped me to find a community of like minded females to push me, encourage me, and cheer me on! The confidence I’ve gained this season on and off the bike through being apart of UNC has been amazing. Being surrounded by strong female cyclists has helped me to become a better cyclist myself!"

A two lane training loop will be set up and bordered by a running loop with a pedestrian sidewalk.
