The boys had a great youth waterfowl weekend 💙 13 ducks in two days. They’ve come a long way in 6 years

Started off camp season with a couple of cats 🐱 and some bass 🎣, great start to what’s looking to be another fun summer!

Mama is finally on the board. Certainly not for lack of trying… some big accomplishments and big misses this year. She called in her very first Turkey, just couldn’t seal the deal. Jeffrey had one in front of her… still couldn’t connect. This morning, last weekend to hunt she laid down a beautiful Jake. 17lbs but couldn’t be happier…🦃 season is over and we have a full freezer with contributions by the whole family 💙

From field to table! Sunday night we had turkey tenders, leeks, fiddleheads and wild mushrooms. Tonight we pickled/canned up the remaining fiddleheads….

Turkey Jeff has officially been humbled by a Jake 😂 This bird acted like an old mature long beard and he got onto him 3 times before Jeff sealed the deal, just to find out it was a young bird. He’s got 1 tag left and he’s looking for a nice mature bird to finish off his season.

Birthday bird for the birthday boy, and a double bearded one to boot! The girls had a few close calls too but just couldn’t seal the deal. Let’s see what tomorrow brings for us 🤞🏼

The first two days of the season started off with a bang in VT and NY for the kids 💥 Jeff connected on another nice long beard and Kait has punched 3 out of 4 of her tags. Hopefully the birds keep cooperating and the rest of the fam can get on the board 🦃

Jeffrey had a great run at Youth Turkey hunting. He was successful every year, killing 12 birds in all between VT and NY. That doesn’t include regular season….awesome memories made for sure ❤️

And just like that, Jeffreys youth season has come to an end… He ended it with a bang in VT! 23 pounds, 9 1/4” beard, 1 inch spurs. What a career so far!
