I am a little morbidly curious to see exactly WHAT they get up to in the nets nowadays in Australia...

"It reached even that level of intrigue only thanks to some delusional umpiring and a few careless pieces of batting that can be safely attributed to the players temporarily having the will to live sucked from their souls by a surface with all the vitality of a fossilised brick, 22 yards of cricketing mausoleum upon which the groundsman should have daubed the words, “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here”, or, at the very least, “I Hate Cricket”. Why he did not do so remains a mystery that may never be adequately explained."

Do it, England...
Back to cricket, though. Welcome to day three. India once again fighting to stay alive. At 87 for 4, they have Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni at the wicket, and R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja to follow. The pitch is still now a bowling bedfellow so they still have hope if they can find. But how well have England been bowling? James Anderson was superb yesterday, and if he continues to bowl like that he is going to make it really difficult for India (like he has been)
It's a shame that the great Sachin will now always be remembered as 'Jimmy's Bunny'.
27.5
Anderson to Tendulkar, OUT, straight delivery, this keeps very low and bowled him! Tendulkar is castled and now Anderson has dismissed him the most times in Test matches - 9. There was a bit of drift into the batsman again and it kept a touch low, Tendulkar was caught on the crease and the delivery slipped past the defensive prod from the crease and into middle stump. He could have got forward and there was nip back into the right-hander
SR Tendulkar b Anderson 2 (13b 0x4 0x6) SR: 15.38
0.3
Anderson to Sehwag, OUT, bit of inswing and knocks out middle stump! Absolutely perfect length ball that Sehwag played inside and his middle pole goes flying. What a start for England. Sehwag didn't move his feet and misread the line, got done on the outside edge by an inswinger. Anderson right on the money third ball
V Sehwag b Anderson 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
Ojha to Pietersen, no run, huge appeal for bat before wicket. Inside-edged, big inside edge
38.1
Anderson to Dhoni, OUT, edged, pouched low at first slip, Dhoni gone! The pressure is becoming unbearable out there, Anderson hitting a good length in the channel, Dhoni prodded at it from the crease and physics did the rest ... India are on the ropes and taking an absolute battering right now
MS Dhoni c Cook b Anderson 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
36.4
Anderson to Yuvraj Singh, OUT, bowled him, rips out off stump and England have five!
Yuvraj Singh b Anderson 11 (17b 2x4 0x6) SR: 64.70
Swann to Tendulkar, OUT, length ball, takes the edge and caught at slip and no question that this is a catch to Trott. Tendulkar played forward to a ball just outside off - Swann's usual line - it ran straight on and took a thick edge which went quickly but straight into Trott's midriff
SR Tendulkar c Trott b Swann 5 (6b 1x4 0x6) SR: 83.33
