Had a talk with the team after practice today and one of our athletes spoke about community members telling him good job, asking for a schedule, and they’re looking forward to coming out to support!

Thank you to whoever you are for taking time out of your day to make a kid’s day! It meant a lot to him and everyone in the program!

Yall sure know how to make Ole Unc feel special, don’t ya! I appreciate it!

In the midst of clearing coaches and students, practice planning, 2-a-days, gassers, repetitive reps, AD meetings and workshops, uniform checkout, etc.. my birthday snuck in there and these guys (without my knowledge - which I was SO thrilled about 😅) found time to acknowledge me!

Couldn’t ask for a better group of young men! I try to tell them as much as I can how much value they add to my life and I hope I can at least add a quarter of that value into their lives!
