2022 was a remarkable season. People will say we fell short & we understand. However, for us the pursuit of excellence & unwillingness to accept any excuses is what drives us. For me as a coach - The 13th hole on Friday defines us as a program (my guys will know what I’m talking about). Moving forward our goals will not change. We want to be playing the last day of IHSA with a chance.

Practicing shots that you don’t normally attempt is a great way to improve and know when you can pull off when it really matters.

If you routinely practice these kinds of shots, you’ll eventually end up using them in a competition.

It really does make a huge difference!

Feedback is important, and the team is always open to critique in order to improve their game.

Golf Tip: Putter Training Aids

Learn to keep your putter head square and create the proper stroke path. Simply practice with this tool for 15 minutes, 3 times a week, indoors or outdoors.

You’ll be draining those 3, 6, or 10-foot putts in no time!

Mastering a wedge shot is a necessity for any young golfer looking to bring down their score.

No matter the day or time, Benton Ranger Golfers always have a place at the Norman house.

It’s not uncommon to see a few golfers out practicing on our backyard putting green, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
