You may have seen a new treadmill placed on the track outside of our Fitness Room. This treadmill is available for use for our members and guests to demo. We are close to the end of our cardio equipment lease and may have a couple pieces of the newest Precor models placed along the track for members to check out for to see what may be to come!

One of the best new features is cable! The new equipment allows us to stream a free cable service, Pluto TV, which provides many channel options to view. If you have a thought to share with any demo piece, please email [email protected].

Benton Mayor Tom Farmer and members of the Benton Fraternal Order of Police join Benton Parks and Recreation staff on the field Wednesday as the Fraternal Order of Police presents a $500 check in support of Fields for Our Future. The program will fund turf infields at Bernard Holland Park, Riverside and Tyndall Park to reduce rain-related game cancellations and provide safer playing surfaces for youth athletes across Benton.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community and the Fields for Our Future project! ⚾💚

A huge thank you Jones Heating & Air Conditioning - The Red Truck Guys for their generous $140,000 donation and Fence Brokers Inc for their generous $10,000 donation toward this project.

These investments will help us continue building a brighter future for recreation in Benton and create spaces our athletes, families, and community can enjoy for years to come.

Join us for Ballroom Dancing Lessons at the River Center! Whether you’re brand new to ballroom dancing or just looking for a fun way to get moving, our instructors will help you learn the steps and build your confidence on the dance floor.

Rhythmic & Dance Classes are a fun way for kids ages 3–9 to build confidence, coordination, rhythm, and movement skills while having a great time!

🏹 Youth Archery Lessons are back this September!

Whether your child is brand new to archery or ready to build on their skills, we have a class for them!

Although it was HOT, that didn’t stop you from bringing the energy to our 9th Annual Back to School Family Glow Run! 🏃‍♀️💡🏃‍♂️

Registration completely FILLED UP, the vibes were high, and once the sun went down, everyone GLOWED! 🌟 We loved seeing so many families come out for an evening of music, inflatables, climbing, glow gear, and fun before heading into a new school year!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the vendors who joined us and helped make the night so much fun! 💚 And to Card My Yard Benton for the great signage!!

And, of course, thank you to our awesome food trucks for keeping everyone fueled throughout the evening! 😋

We also want to give a HUGE shoutout to our incredible volunteers! 🙌 From our awesome group of volunteers to everyone else who jumped in to lend a hand. Thank you for giving your time, bringing the energy, and helping everything run smoothly! 💛

And the best part? All proceeds from the Glow Run benefit Bright Futures Benton, helping support Benton students and families right here in our community. 💙🧡
