Friday Recap ⚽️💙

Soccer took over our schools this week! Our athletes worked on passing, trapping, dribbling, and scoring — all while learning this week’s STEM word: CONTROL. From controlling the ball during a pass to keeping it close while dribbling, they got to put the word into action. 🙌

We even put their defense to the test with a challenge to steal the ball from our coaches before they could score! 👀⚽️

And there’s more N Zone Junior fun right around the corner! Our Multi-Sport Jr. Academy at MLTC kicks off October 4, and regular registration ends this Saturday.

Friday Recap! 🙌

This week was scoops in our schools, which is our version of lacrosse! The STEM word for scoops was direction, and we emphasized it while running to encourage changes in direction, as well as passing and shooting from different directions.

⭐️The lessons included drills for catching, throwing, shooting, fielding the ball on the ground, and handing the ball to teammates. We also played games like Hungry Hungry Hippos 🦛 for the kids to get a feel for the game, hot potato to work on controlling the ball and passing it to teammates, and red light, green light while controlling the ball with their scoops!

The Westpark Academy kicks off on October 4th and runs 8 consecutive Sundays until Nov 22! We have a limited number of spots remaining!🚨 Regular registration is also ending on 9/19 - prices will be increased after that!

Another week of learning, moving & playing! ⚾️💙💛

This week, our young athletes took on T-Ball! We practiced hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running—all while learning our STEM Word of the Week: GRAVITY! 🍎

The kids learned that gravity is what brings the ball back down after they hit or throw it. Who knew a T-Ball lesson could turn into a science lesson too?! 🙌

And the fun doesn’t stop here! Our West Park Multi-Sport Junior Academy at MLTC starts October 4th, and only 9 spots remain! 🏈⚽️⚾️

🏈 Friday Recap: Football Week!

This week, our N Zone Junior athletes got N’ the Zone with football! From catching and throwing to running with the ball, defense, and ball control, there was plenty of learning happening through play. 🙌

🎯 STEM Word of the Week: AIM — learning how to focus on a target while practicing those throws!
