Thanks to everyone who joined us at Community Hub in Oakland for our recent film night. It was an incredible evening sharing a collection of films from some of the best filmmakers and riders in the sport, alongside inspiring new up-and-comers — all experienced the way they were meant to be seen, on the big screen with FRIENDS!

BTCEB is an all-volunteer organization built around three core pillars to support mountain biking in the East Bay: advocacy, trail stewardship, and community. Events like this help bring riders together while supporting the ongoing work to maintain and expand access to great to trails.

If you enjoyed the event and like what we're doing, we'd love to have you get more involved. Visit our website to learn more about our work, and check out our Meetup page to stay informed about incoming trail work days, rides and other community events.

The JMP Castle Park re-route was our 3rd trail work event of the week. Berms and benching on the switchbacks were the focus with some additional tread work to improve flow and head off breaking bumps. Special thanks to and The International School students, parents, and coaches for all their digging, hauling, and compacting.

BTCEB volunteers were out Thursday and Saturday this week installing pavers and rebuilding rollers and berms on Sugar City at Crockett Hills. The pavers will improve a chronically wet area that is often affected by a seep. Thank you to those that carved out a few hours to dig, wheelbarrow, and compact. It was great to meet some new people along with familiar faces. Thank you to EBRPD staff for their continued support.

Staff have started mowing and line trimming. Two Peaks was completed and Sugar City is started.

Thank you .one and for their support.
Thanks to Dave Sturgis for photos. More photos to come.
