The West Coast Fencing Archive is researching and telling all the stories of fencing from the West Coast.
The West Coast Fencing Archive was founded in December, 2012 by Mark Headley and Doug Nichols. Initially formed to preserve and catalog the estate of Charles and Julie Selberg, the Archive has expanded its goal to incorporate the history of the sport of fencing on the West Coast of the United States. The US Men's and Women's Foil teams take Bronze at the Cairo World Cup. Nick Itkin, Alexander Massialas, Bryce Louie , and James Bourtis for the men and Lee Kiefer, Lauren Scruggs, Katerina Lung, and Caroline Stutchbury for the Women. Congratulations!
Nick Itkin is into the Semi-Finals at the Cairo World Cup. Lee Kiefer went out in the Round of 16
Congratulations to Nick Itkin for taking Silver at the Torino Grand Prix. He lost to Italian Guillaume Bianchi 15-12 in the final.
Bronze for the women and Silver for the Men in the Team at events at their respective World Cup events this weekend. Hong Kong for the women and Paris for the men.
Congratulations to Lee Kiefer and Alexander Massialas. They both won gold today at World Cup events. Lee won in Honk Kong. Alex won in Paris.

Congratulations to the US Women's Foil Team. They beat France 45-24 at the World Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia to take home the gold medal. This is the second gold medal at these games for Lee Kiefer.
Best touch of the Women's Team Foil Competition at the World Championships was Lauren Scruggs behind the back at point 25 of the fifth period.
