Dance with Katy Today @ 10:15 amš 214 Hillcrest Rd (TCC)
RitmoKĆ” is a fusion of two wordsāRitmo is rhythm in Spanish and KĆ” is for Katy. Together they mean Katy's rhythm. Routines are influenced by Latin steps such as Salsa, Samba, Flamenco, Merengue, and folklore as well as Jazz and Contemporary. RitmoKĆ” is not only the choreography I bring to my classes but also my commitment to improving core strength so students can achieve their wish to dance forever!

Emeryville: A Tiny Town with an Outsized Trove of Public Art
Date: Tuesday, June 13
Meet: Public Market at noon
Emeryville -- all 1.2 square miles of it -- is filled with an astounding assortment public art, and more gets added all the time. Join Sandy Friedland for a tour of some of the best installations in courtyards, beside walkways, and even inside some corporate lobbies. Along the way, youāll hear a bit about the colorful history of this fascinating little town, which Earl Warren dubbed āthe rottenest city on the West Coast." The route is about two miles and is flat and paved, except for a few short runs of stairs leading to raised courtyards and steps leading to and from two pedestrian bridges over the railroad tracks. Weāll have a late lunch at Public Market after the walk ā or we can stop at Rudyās Canāt Fail sooner if we get hungry.
