Three nights of music, community, and live sound came together at the historic Legend Valley venue in Thornville, Ohio, for this year’s Dark Star Jubilee.

Headlined by Dark Star Orchestra, with additional performances from Little Feat, Dogs in a Pile, and more. The weekend brought together fans for another memorable gathering that delivered an exceptional sonic experience.

Powered by our PANTHER line array and supplied by our friends at DBS Audio Systems Inc., the system delivered powerful, clear coverage across the festival grounds, supporting every performance with precision and consistency from front to back.

"The weekend went very well, with all visiting engineers extremely happy mixing on PANTHER," said Dave Brotman, President of DBS Audio Systems Inc. "It's rewarding when a visiting engineer turns on his or her music to hear the rig. The same expression is on their face every time: 'This is gonna be great.'"

We are excited to support Tony Award-nominated sound designer Brian Ronan and his acclaimed work on The Rocky Horror Show.

Brian’s sound design helped bring the cult classic’s electrifying energy to life, delivering the power, precision, and musical impact needed to immerse audiences in every unforgettable moment.

“By adding LEOPARDs, UPQs, and 900-LFCs, I was able to beef up the bones of a Meyer Sound system already installed in Studio 54. The result was a level of clarity and power that fit the room perfectly and enhanced the audience's experience at The Rocky Horror Show, which is what it’s all about!” — Brian Ronan, Sound Designer

We are excited to see our solutions supporting Tony Award-nominated sound designer Kai Harada on two acclaimed Broadway productions, Cats: The Jellicle Ball and Ragtime. Kai’s sound designs bring both productions to life with remarkable clarity, impact, and emotional depth.

“Selecting Meyer Sound speakers for two very different styles of shows—Lincoln Center Theater's Ragtime and the Broadway transfer of Cats: The Jellicle Ball—was a no-brainer for me; I've used Meyer Sound loudspeakers in all sorts of venues in all sorts of situations, and I knew that so long as I had good speaker locations, the results would be exactly what I expected—even mixing and matching legacy cabinets with newer models wasn't an issue. Both shows required so much clarity throughout the entire frequency spectrum over a huge dynamic range, and I was very happy with the results.” — Kai Harada, Sound Designer

We’re honored to help support the artistry behind these Tony Award-nominated productions, ensuring every note, lyric, and dramatic moment reaches audiences as intended.
