Berkeley Public now The Tap Haus

How can I make coffee stronger? I’m crashing big time and I still have 2.5 hours to go.

Plans for tomorrow is sleep, either on Bart for hours on accident or in my bed. Definitely would prefer bed, but who knows. 🤷‍♂️

So finally after much work Berkeley Public is now back open and it will change it's name to The Tap Haus which has been operating in the space below. The menu will take another bit of time to expand and get back to the bigger menu that we had before. Check it out!

Hello Berkeley Public fans!! We just wanted to let you know we are FINALLY starting construction on the upstairs portion of Tap Haus. Hopefully it will be a quick and painless process. Fingers crossed! In the mean time if you didn't already know, we have 6 pool tables downstairs and are now opening Tap Haus from 2pm to 2am everyday!! So come by and have a Brat, or Stein of Bier and shoot some pool!

So we got our final permit!! We are ready to combine the two spaces at 2516 and 2518 Durant! Thank you for all you're support!!

This Thursday there is a meeting with the Zoning and Adjustment Board for our final build out project at Berkeley Public and The Tap Haus which will combine the two spaces and hopefully let us use our pool tables.The meeting starts at 7pm and is at 2134 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Berkeley, CA 94704 in the Council Chambers are located on the second floor.We need your help!! Please come by and help us finish building your pool hall and bar!!

Hey Thalassa/ Tap Haus Family! We are pleased to announce that we are now officially open! Thanks so much for patiently waiting these long months. We still have a bit of construction (building a full bar, setting up pool tables etc.) but the food is great and the beer is fantastic! Stop by tonight and see for yourself. We’ll be serving up brews and brats all night starting at 5 pm.
