With nearly 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, the newly appointed President of e.l.f. Brands is joining The Berkeley Forum on September 1 for a conversation on her journey across beauty, business and the boardroom — and what it means to challenge the status quo along the
way.

From building brands with cultural currency to championing greater representation in leadership,
Kory will share the lessons, risks and defining moments that have shaped e.l.f. Beauty, it’s Change the Board Game platform and the leader she is today.

This fall, e.l.f. Beauty is coming to UC Berkeley with a 12-week DeCal launched in collaboration with
UC Berkeley’s Undergraduate Marketing Association and The Berkeley Forum.

The course explores the importance of inclusive corporate leadership through the lens of e.l.f. Beauty’s
Change the Board Game initiative — a call to disrupt the status quo, expand access and representation,
and double the rate at which women and people of color are added to corporate boards by 2027.

Students will go behind the initiative with e.l.f. leaders, explore the role representation plays in business
and leadership, and bring their own perspective to where the conversation goes next.
