My name is James Perkins. I am recent graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where I studied exercise science, and currently am a Graduate student. Along with my studies I played Division 1 soccer under Shaun Green where we were successful in winning 1 regular season championship, One post season Championship, and had an NCAA tournament run to the Sweet 16. While playing soccer I was

faced with adversity twice, overcoming two major acl surgeries and both times coming back successfully to full health. While at Central, I did my internship at Parisi Speed School. The main focus of Parisi Speed School is to work on running technique as well as strength and conditioning. I had an idea to make this a bit more specific, and with my experience in the exercise science field along with my experience in playing at an elite level of soccer, Mike Church, and I decided to make a soccer specific curriculum at Parisi. My goal is to work with soccer players as well as teams around Connecticut to bring out their full potential. I plan on achieving this not only with the basic techniques of soccer, but by stressing the significance of strength and conditioning.
