Player is a very handsome 17h 8yo German Sport Horse. He is the barn favorite and a blast to ride. 🤩
Player was bred to be a dressage horse, but after a couple years of inconsistent scores his connections decided to have him try something new. I taught him to jump this summer and he absolutely loves it! With his solid dressage foundation, he is the perfect combination of "needs leg for support" alongside being "tuned to the aids." 💪🏼
He has the brain and rhythm to step into the Hunter ring, the balance and comfortable gaits to win in the Equitation ring, and the scope the compete in the Jumper ring. Or he could continue to play in the sandbox as a Dressage horse! Player is light in the bridle, naturally uphill and balanced, and carries his own rhythm. And he gives a fantastic feel and bascule over fences. 🎉
Player trailers well and is quiet on the ground away from home. He still has some show nerves in the warmup ring with multiple horses jumping around him, but he just needs the miles and experience to turn into a professional show horse. 👩🏼🎓
Everyone loves to pet, scratch, and hug this horse and he enjoys every minute of it. His best friend is my stall cleaner's 2yo son who can reach up and give this horse kisses on the nose. Player is also well behaved on crossties, stands for the farrier and vet, stands for mane pulling and clippers, enjoys baths, etc... No vices, quiet in his stall. Currently turned out with a small herd of geldings 🐴
We are looking for this horse's perfect human match, and his carrots are negotiable to make that happen. A young professional looking for your breakout horse, a solid teen involved in a show program, or an experienced amateur who just wants to better themselves and this horse. 🥕
